It is also a tradition amongst many to colour Easter eggs. Did you know that you can make stronger infusions of tea to colour your eggs naturally?   Yellow colour use Chamomile Tea Darker brown colour use Black Tea Light brown colour use Pu-erh Tea Gray-blue colour use Hibiscus Tea A general recipe would be to add 2 tsp of tea to 3/4 cup of boiling water plus 2 tsp. of vinegar. Let the eggs steep overnight in the fridge or until you reach the desired colour. You can also naturally dye eggs using other vegetables and herbs. Check online “naturally dying eggs” for other ideas. To make a perfect hard-boiled egg place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Turn off the heat, cover the pot and let sit for 14 minutes. Drain and run cold water over the eggs until the water stays cold.
